Half Marathon Fun!

Last weekend, I traveled with my Mom and sisters to the great white North of New Hampshire to watch them run a half marathon. This is old hat for my mom, who has been running 'before it was cool', but it was the first long-distance run for my sister Karen and she did an amazing job. I am so proud of both of their achievements!

It was also the first time in a LONG time that my Mom got to yell at all three of us at the same time. Ahh, touching moments.

I hope to run this next year. I'm up to a 10k on my own training (6.2 miles). If I can manage to double it in the next year, I should be good to join them next May!
