Makin' Landin's

Langston Hughes reference aside, Chris and I have been hot and heavy on house projects. Now that the deck stairs are in the middle, as opposed to the left, we had a big blank grassy space to fill. We filled it with pavestones from Home Depot and my masonry skills as learned at work! Wahoo!

Ye be warned, homeowners - this was HARD FREAKING WORK. The whole process took us about 6 hours. Additional concerns were that Chris dug the hole too deep and we didn't have enough sand, but once that got taken care of, it was only hours and hours of backbreaking work in the hot sun. Perfect July Saturday plans!
